参与或主持了各类科研项目近二十项,包括国家森林防火灭火特别基金项目、国家自然科学基金重点课题、澳洲研究基金重大课题、澳洲丛林火联合研究中心(Bushfire CRC)课题、澳洲科学院课题以及澳洲联邦科学和工业研究机构(CSIRO)内部课题等。
发表学术论文和完成内部技术报告九十余篇。文章出现在Combustion and Flame、Fuel、Energy and Fuels、Combustion Science and Technology等国际学术刊物上。
受邀为权威刊物 Progress in Energy and Combustion Science 撰写煤自燃现象机理研究工作进展的综述。与国际火灾领域的专家一道完成了一部关于材料可燃性测试技术的专著。
